Because there’s no oxidative processing, the formula tends to be gentler on hair compared to permanent dyes, especially when used on a pre‑lightened canvas. The acidic formulation helps close the cuticle and preserves hair shine and texture. For use over hair that has been lightened to level 9–10, making it suitable for bright, vibrant results on very light blondes.
